A little further on there are also problems with the Eekmolenbrug, which is located next to the De Weert mill. Half of this bridge is closed to car traffic due to concrete rot. This bridge, built between 1947 and 1950, will be completely replaced later this year. The municipality has allocated 1.5 million euros for this.
This bridge has been partially closed since the end of 2023.
