A motorist was injured on Friday night in a collision with a police car at the intersection of Van Wandelenstraat and Hambakenweg in Den Bosch. The collision took place around a quarter to five at night.
The driver of the car was chased by the police because of his driving behavior. It is said that he “drove through the city at a speed of up to 90 miles per hour.”
The chase was eventually stopped by the officers. However, they continued to look for the man in the area. When they saw him driving again and tried to get him to stop, the suspect bumped into them. His car then came to a stop in a side street, badly damaged.
Officers slightly injured
Two officers were slightly injured in the collision, but did not need to be taken to hospital.
The driver of the car that crashed into the police car was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. Another man and a woman were also in that car. No information has been released about arrests.
