Mases goal was to pick up 2,000 euros, so that he and his family could make a big dream come true: a trip to Disneyland. That dream fell, it seemed for a while. “Then enforcement came in line and said we were not allowed to sell,” Mase told NH.
According to mother Charissa Tromp, the couple got up early to sell their things to the audience that had come to the Dutch Grand Prix.
The decision of enforcement was a big SOF, since the sale, according to the couple, ran ‘very well’.
Table back outside
Fortunately for Mase and his piggy bank, that decision was soon reversed. In the end it turned out that only children around Formula 1 were allowed to sell with a stall. “He immediately put his table outside again,” says mother Charissa.
“We were ordering Lolly’s all the time,” says Mase relieved, who stuck home-made F1 stickers on the sweets.
Enough money
Mase seems to be determined to achieve his goal: “We hope we can go to Disney.” Something his mother also looks forward to. With a third sales day in the offing, she keeps hope. “I said: if we have earned enough money, we will go to Disneyland. Who knows.”
