Dave Grohl: “‘Your Favorite Toy’ was really the key that set the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We came across it after over a year of experimenting with different sounds and dynamics, and the day it took shape I knew we had to follow that path. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we ended up recording for this album. It feels new.”
The album, “Your Favorite Toy,” will be released April 24th and was co-produced by the Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, mixed by Oliver Roman, and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent.

Tour starts in June
With the release of “Your Favorite Toy,” the Foo Fighters also announce their “Take Cover” world tour. This starts on June 10th at the Unity Arena in Oslo and will take the band to Munich, Berlin and Vienna in the summer, among other places. The Foo Fighters are Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin.
