TUtto in a summer
Type: Generational-geographic comedy
Director: Louise Courvoisier. With Clement Faveau, Maïwene Barthelemy, Luna Garret, Mathis Bernard, Dimitri Baudry, Armand Sancey Richard
All actors are absolute amateurs: The protagonist works in a breeding of chickens, she really raises cows (as in the film), the cheese expert is the guardian of a prison, but what truth you breathe in the film with which Louise Couurvoisier begins in the direction!
Do not hear an out of place joke (including that of the original title, Vingt dieuxspecies of intercalary custody very widespread in the region where the film is shot, the Jura), There is no face that looks false, a gesture of too much.
Clément Faveau (on the wheel) is Totone in “Everything in a summer!” (Photo by Laurent Le Crabe).
For a summer We follow Totone’s efforts, left alone with his little sister after his father’s death, in his attempt to transform himself into a manufacturer of Comté cheese. But together with his amateur inexperience, we discover how he deals with his sexuality and perhaps love, together with the friendship and the laws of the group.
And thanks to him we enter the farmer world of the French province, we know their roughness and roughness, but also attachment to the earth and traditions, without regrets or nostalgia but with the eye of those who know those stories (the director comes from those lands) and wants to show us another way of rereading the 400 shots of François Truffaut.
For those who want to find out what it really means to be a farmer.
