Almost two weeks after his break in the eye socket, Aleksandar Pavlović is back on the pitch. The midfielder of FC Bayern Munich has completed parts of the team training for the first time since his injury. The 21-year-old wore a special face mask.
The Bundesliga club starts the new season with a home game against RB Leipzig on Friday evening (8:30 p.m. in the T-Online Live Tickier). Pavlović injured himself in training in early August and was operated on.
At the Supercup success of the Munich team at VfB Stuttgart (2-1) last weekend, the five-time international was not in the squad-just like Hiroki Itō and Paul Wanner. According to club details, both worked individually on Monday on their return and completed running units.
