Basketball champion Alba Berlin has suffered the third defeat in a row in the EuroLeague.
The team coached by Israel Gonzalez lost to Spanish top club Valencia Basket on Thursday by 88:94 (47:50). In Europe’s elite league, the Berliners now have six wins and 15 bankruptcies. The play-off ranks are currently a long way off.
National player Maodo Lo was the best scorer against the Spaniards with 25 points in the arena at Ostbahnhof, Jared Harper scored 20 points for Valencia.
