Ajax – Feyenoord was just stopped. The Classic continued after an interruption of over ten minutes. After fireworks on the field, referee Serdar Gözübüyük decided to go inside. Feyenoord was leading 0-3 at that moment.
Ajax started De Klassieker dramatically this afternoon. Within twenty minutes Santiago Gimenez scored for the Feyenoord team. Anton Gaaei played a negative role in both goals. At 0-1 he was easily defeated by Quinten Timber and Gimenez scored. He introduced the second goal by simply handing in the ball. After that goal, a cup of beer was brought onto the field and the match was stopped without leaving the field. It was 0-3 at the time of the stoppage by Igor Paixao.
Gözübüyük decided to leave the field after fireworks on the field. There have been no Feyenoord supporters in the Johan Cruijff ArenA for years, after things went wrong several times between both groups of supporters. This also applies to this edition of De Klassieker.
