Air raids from Hilversum office building: aggressive seagull targets passers-by

Visitors and passers-by of the Hilversum Business Center office building on Zeverijnstraat in Hilversum run the risk of being attacked by an aggressive seagull. The bird has already attacked several people. The manager of the office building has called in a bird expert to help.

The seagull attacks people, probably to protect its nest from ‘intruders’. The beast’s attacks can appear quite aggressive.

Roofers who wanted to work on the roof of the office building have fled. They refuse to continue working under the threat of seagull attacks, says the manager.

The manager asked a bird expert about the behavior of the seagull. According to her, it is a bird with territorial behavior that protects its nest. It is not surprising that the gull is on the roof: gulls often nest on flat gravel roofs of companies.

Warning

The owners of the office building have warned their tenants. People need not be afraid.

On the advice of the bird expert, it is recommended to make yourself tall or put your arm in the air. That should be enough to scare off the bird if you are attacked.
