Minister Agema hopes to bundle with Zorgop AI projects: what does it deliver?
Outgoing State Secretary Nicki Pouw-Verweij (Long-term and Social Care) spoke in News of the day about elderly care. Nothing can be blamed for her, but let’s stop pretending that the ‘aging’ is surprising. Nothing was as predictable as the aging population.
It should therefore not be a surprise that the number of elderly people in need of help increases explosively, with all its consequences. Due to political decisions, the elderly have become knowingly (under the guise of the participation society) the ‘drain’ of society. From now on, let’s not mention the ‘aging’ as the cause of the stuck elderly care, but the actual reason. For example: “Elderly care in the Knel due to thoughtless political austerity policy on care homes and years of political negligence.” Politics tends to always put the causes of self -caused problems outside themselves. Politics must be confronted more with the consequences of its own (Wan) policy. Otherwise, politicians never feel responsible for their actions and they continue to create chaos.
I wish Mrs. Pouw-Verweij good success and wisdom.
