A crypto phone and the username “massive human”
For planning the cannabis trade, Diehn is said to have used a separate cell phone from the “EncroChat” brand, which encrypts chat histories. In addition, according to the authorities, the musician and a colleague discussed a robbery of a German music manager over the crypto phone. What is behind the planned crime is so far unclear. According to the NDR, the rapper was finally exposed via his “EncroChat” password. His username is said to have been “massive human”. The rapper himself has not yet commented on the events.
The mobile phone provider had already informed its buyers in 2020 that the French police had hacked the server and gained access to the supposedly encrypted chats. The police shared the data obtained with various authorities, including the German BKA. By analyzing the messages, officials have reportedly been able to locate 4,500 suspects. The 4,000 new investigations, including against Kontra K, led to almost 1,900 arrest warrants and the seizure of 550 firearms and more than 38 tons of narcotics. As a result of the investigation, the company had to cease operations in 2020.
