In the forests near a ven on the Van Swinderenlaan in Oisterwijk, a fire raged on Friday evening. Witnesses saw the flames of three different hot spots in the forest and saw people run away. Earlier this week, a little further in the forest, fire broke out.
The fire brigade from Oisterwijk, Moergestel, Berkel-Enschot, Hilvarenbeek, Diessen and Tilburg came to the forest fire. Due to the drought and the heat, the fire brigade has recently taken off as standard with at least four extinguishing vehicles in a report of a natural fire.
Re -extinguish
The fire brigade has the fire under control around half past eight on Friday evening, but will be busy with re -extinguishing. A fire on the Van Tienhovenlaan that broke out a bit further earlier this week was probably also lit.
This week the fire brigade has its hands full of natural fires. On Wednesday there were four natural fires in one evening in the province.
