After an unusually long reign of three years, by Prince Kevin the first and Adjutant Stephan the first, Kainbongelstad has a new Prince.
During the Prinsenbal 2022, Prince Niek the first and Adjutant Erwin the first were introduced to the public. They will be supported by two ladies-in-waiting, Hofdame Yonina and Hofdame Danique.
The Prince Couple will rule Kaingbongelstad for the 2022-2023 carnival season. Kainbongelstad is the name for Emmer-Compascuum during the carnival season. The parade in Emmer-Compascuum will take place on Friday evening, starting at 6.30 pm. According to carnival association De Kainbongels, it is the largest illuminated carnival parade in the North.
