Union remains undefeated!

The second test match in Austria was also survived without bankruptcy. In sweltering heat in Lienz there was a 3:3 against the Italian first division club Udinese Calcio.

Union was 0-2 and 1-3 behind in front of 700 fans. But Rani Khedira (44′), an own goal by Bram Nuytinck (49′) and Robin Knoche (63′) still ensured the draw against a robust and sometimes nicky opponent.

Coach Urs Fischer (56): “The conclusion is good. in the first half we weren’t on the pitch as we had imagined. The opponent was efficient.” Newcomer Jordan Siebatcheu remained without a goal.

Good news: After a knee injury, midfielder Janik Haberer played his first game in a Union shirt. Fischer: “It was important that he had minutes. He still has some catching up to do.”
