The afternoon temperature is usually between 15 and 18 degrees and that is fairly normal values for the first half of October, according to Weeronline.
The new week starts fairly gray with some light rain or drizzle spread throughout the country. Large quantities of precipitation are no longer an issue. “This afternoon, especially in the southwest, the sun also breaks through a lot,” Weeronline sketches a bright spot. With a moderate and sometimes quite powerful west wind, the afternoon temperature fluctuates around 13 degrees in Groningen and Drenthe to local 16 degrees in Zeeland.
Tuesday starts foggy, but it disappears quickly. Then fields with (low) clouds and a few sunny moments alternate. “In places where the sun shines a little longer, the temperature can rise to 18 or 19 degrees,” says Weeronline.
Wednesday during the day an area with thicker clouds pulls and spreads some rain over our country. This will happen from northwest to southeast, but more than 1 or 2 millimeter precipitation is not expected.
“The rest of the week and next weekend this quiet autumn weather will persist,” Weeronline predicts. The weak to moderate wind blows from the west to northwest, towards the weekend a bit more from Noord, and blows wet air to the Netherlands from the North Sea.
