After almost eight months of club loss, the former Leipzig Jean-Kévin Augustin found a new employer. The 27 -year -old center forward signed in the Polish EkstraKlasa at Motor Lublin. As the eight -placed person announced, the Frenchman received a contract until the end of the season with an option for another year.

“Kévin is a player with a lot of potential and experience he has gained in the European top leagues. We are aware that he was a few months without a club, but he has been training with us for a few weeks now and every day we have been able to see an improvement in his dynamics and movements on the pitch. We believe that his experience and sporting ambition will lead to the fact that his contract will be extended after the season,” said Pawel Golanski.

Between 2017 and 2020, Augustin had completed 67 games for RB Leipzig (20 goals, eight templates) with interruptions and also reached its highest market value with 25 million euros. With an amount of 21 million euros, he is the most tenth -controlled sale in the young club history of the red bulls. Afterwards, the move to Leeds was primarily associated with many non-sporty headlines. For a long time, both clubs fought in court because of the transfer.
