After 14 years in the peloton, Tim Declercq is on his bike for the very last time during a professional race as a farewell criterion.

He was often at the very front of the peloton for miles. His tireless leadership for teammates earned him the Crystal Sweat Drop four times in a row, an audience award for the best helper in the peloton.

Declercq’s career started at Topsport Vlaanderen and after a successful period at Quick Step, he defended the colors of Lidl-Trek over the past 2 years. He is not a multiple winner, although Tim did win the Belgian title as a promise. He took part in the Tour de France five times and the Vuelta twice.
