Adela Montes de Oca, Ruiz Mateos’s fourteenth daughter, tonight in ‘Who is my father?’

Telecinco broadcasts tonight, at 10:00 p.m., a new installment of ‘Who is my father?’. In 1989, José María Ruiz-Mateos, married with 13 children, meets the Mexican Patricia Montes de Oca in Chicago, with whom he establishes an intimate relationship from which Adela is born. The story of this young woman, finally recognized by the justice in 2017 as the daughter of the businessman, will be the plot axis of the new program of the format presented by Carlota Corredera.

Ruiz-Mateos’ extramarital relationship spans several years, in hotels and in an apartment that pays the Mexican woman to spend her stay in our country. Upon becoming pregnant, she returns to Chicago and gives birth to Adela in 1991. Aware of her existence, Ruiz-Mateos bears all of Adela’s expenses since her birth and maintains contact with her, but never legally recognized her or spoke of her to her family.

The program will exclusively show the images of Adela’s baptism and of the people who were present, as well as the transactions that Patricia receives from Ruiz-Mateos to cover Adela’s expenses. Mother and daughter spend the summer months in Spain next to the founder of Rumasa, who pays for everything.

The report has the participation of Adela herself and her mother, Patricia; Teresa Bueyes, her lawyer; Joaquin Yvancos, former lawyer of José María Ruiz-Mateos; and Ignacio Fernández, export spokesman for the businessman, among others. Along with Carlota Corredera and the protagonists of the documentary, journalists Pilar Vidal and Juan Luis Galiacho will be on set; the lawyer Teresa Bueyes; the psychologist Ana Villarrubia and Cuca García de Vinuesa, former press officer of José María Ruiz-Mateos, among others.
