This week, 200,000 households will receive a letter from the Surcharge Service to let them know that they may still be entitled to healthcare allowance for 2024. The letter states how people can check whether they are still entitled to healthcare allowance and if so, how they can request them. Note: Anyone who requests care allowance, housing allowance or child -related budget for 2024 also requests it for 2025.
