Aada Länsiluoto has already become known on social media at a young age. Now he aims even more for television.
Aada Länsiluoto20, still thought last summer that shooting reality TV would serve as a “salvation” for him.
He participated Chord Borg & Turkyt – for the second production season of the show, where social media influencers competed for a management contract. Aada, who worked as a fitness influencer, had already thought about her own direction before the program. Instead of coaching, he saw his strengths lie in the world of entertainment.
– During filming, I noticed that I was thinking how by winning the direction would naturally change and the program would be the one that changes everything.
– That’s not how it works. No program will change your career, you have to do it yourself, Aada says now.
In the program Sointu Borg & Tyrkyt, Aada first thought that she wouldn’t be the first to fall. In the final three, the goal was already victory. Henri Kärkkäinen
Aada’s goals got tougher as the filming progressed. However, the final episode ended with disappointed tears for Aada.
Even when she got home, Aada cried.
– I went alone and cried for many hours. I gave myself permission to wallow in that feeling for two days, then I decided it would end, he says.
– I bet that disappointment was not the main reason for my strong reaction. Even more, I understood that even if I had won, nothing would have changed by itself.
Aada knows that grieving in the long run won’t help, and she doesn’t even flinch at the slightest thing.
If a goal is not met, it gives Aada the strength to work even harder for it. Henri Kärkkäinen
During his life, he has faced even more serious adversities. He has spoken openly in public about, among other things, his father’s suicide and the brain tumor found in him soon after.
Free from the shame of a family tragedy
Aada was only 10 years old when she found her father dead in her home. Aada has since told about what happened openly, in some people’s opinion even startlingly direct.
– It might sound really radical to someone’s ear when I openly say that I found my father hanged or that I had a brain tumor. They might even frighten the opposite party.
However, the outspoken Aada has not always been so open. He says that he recently came across his old social media update from years ago, a couple of years after his father’s death. He wasn’t ready to talk then and wondered if he ever would.
– I believe that later I got rid of a certain kind of shame. I had managed to deal with it in such a way that it was a neutral event for me, and not at all shocking. I think that this has happened and it is a part of life, says Aada.
Aada Länsiluoto has tattooed on herself some of the same lyrics that were on her father’s death notice. Henri Kärkkäinen
Over the years, Aada states that openness has only made it easier to handle the matter. The events of his childhood no longer come as a surprise to others, and he does not have to hide or support the listener’s feelings in a certain way.
In the past, he also felt hatred for his father’s act. After dealing with what happened, he describes that nowadays anger and incomprehension have been replaced by a deeper understanding. There is also sadness left.
– Grief is perhaps more of an everyday thing. In some situations, I think, What if my father could help me or what if I have children or get married and he’s not here, Aada says.
Chord Borg’s instructions
Aada’s openness also worried Sointu Borg during the Tyrkyt program. Sointu advised Aada to draw clearer boundaries to protect her own privacy. At first, Soinnu’s instruction annoyed Aada.
– Maybe I was annoyed by the idea that others can’t really know what that mood is. I’m open and I talk brutally honestly about certain topics, and they don’t embarrass me, but I also don’t say anything.
Aada mentions, for example, that she has completely left relationship matters outside of social media.
– I may talk about really deep things very openly, but then there are some things I don’t even talk about with my closest friends.
Aada was operated on for a brain tumor in 2019. Since then, he has had check-ups at regular intervals. Today, he doesn’t even remember it unless someone asks about it. Henri Kärkkäinen
For example, he has mentioned out loud that he would like to become a TV presenter, but he hasn’t really talked about his other goals.
During the filming of the Tyrkyt program, Aada fell in love with making TV for real.
– I never thought I would enjoy it so much.
– Like it or not, you will see me on TV, Aada says with a laugh.
However, he cannot reveal further details for the time being. However, the shootings are already in the calendar.
The sound is annoying
Recently, Aada has been moving towards her goals at a fast pace, because she finally achieved the main prize in Turkey and Emmi Lehtomaa started to manage her as well.
– I have always known that I share opinions. People either love it or hate it. All the time, it has become more and more clear that maybe this is exactly what the Finnish entertainment industry needs, Aada reflects.
On social media, Aada has had to receive a lot of nasty comments. He says that no matter how outrageous comments he is used to, they still get under his skin every now and then. Especially if you are going through a more challenging period with your own mental health.
In the Tyrkyt program, Aada Länsiluoto may have seemed confident, but in reality she hesitated and had no sense of what was to come. “Fake it ’til you make it,” he says. Henri Kärkkäinen
– I’m not going to lie that nothing will ever happen. Yes, there can be such rudeness that… Maybe especially if close people are commented on, that’s the worst, he says.
– However, it’s my voice that pisses people off the most. Facial contortion and voice. I’m just thinking that this is funny, that I’m acting big and I haven’t been, for example, to put botulinum in my forehead, Aada says with amusement.
Recently, Aada has, for example, talked about her recent silicone breasts on social media. After the operation itself and with his own recovery, Aada is satisfied. As a topic, plastic surgery, however, often arouses discussion and is accompanied by sharp opinions.
However, Aada has received surprisingly few pointed comments on the subject. He believes that his own openness plays a part in the matter.
When Aada is going through a more difficult phase in her life, even outrageous comments get under her skin more sensitively. Henri Kärkkäinen
– My voice has annoyed people more than, for example, my breast surgery. That’s just a fact.
In return, Aada also receives messages praising her for peer support and courage. He has heard that he acts as an example that life is not over, no matter what kind of events are in the background.
