A collision involving a truck and a passenger car occurred around 5:30 am between Tilburg Center and Tilburg Reeshof. A driver became trapped and had to be freed by the fire brigade.
In order to carry out this action safely, emergency services closed off several lanes using red crosses. The driver of a passenger car with three occupants did not see this or saw it too late, and drove into the back of a stationary fire truck. The occupants of the passenger car were injured.
According to the police, emergency services are still dealing with the accidents. The police are investigating the circumstances of both incidents.
