A truck and a passenger car collided on the A28 near Assen last night around a quarter to five. No one was injured in the accident.
Between the Assen-Noord and Assen-West exits, from the direction of Groningen, the highway was littered with debris. The crash barrier along the A28 was also damaged. The road was closed as a result and traffic was diverted at the Assen-Noord exit.
It is not yet clear how the accident happened.
