“A thick red line”: coalition partner CD&V is not happy with Gennez’s savings plans within the healthcare sector

CD&V is “not pleased” with the savings plans of Minister of Welfare Caroline Gennez (Vooruit) for residential care centers and other healthcare institutions. ‘Het Nieuwsblad’ previously announced that they risk losing subsidies if they have built up too much financial reserve in the past. Opposition party PVDA also denounces the “punishment of WZCs with healthy accounting”.
