The Finnish women’s national ice hockey team plays in the World Cup quarter-final against the Czech Republic.

Naisleijonat took a 1–0 lead in the match in the first period in 15:18, when the Finnish first chain Viivi Vainikka succeeded in scoring.

The Czech Republic equalized in the second set with superiority. Was behind the goal Natalie Mlynkova was able to slip in between the Finnish player and the goalpost with unsanctioned ease in front of the goal and slip the equaliser.

More came less than a minute later, when Katerina Mrazova tightened the nets.

Finland will try to wash its face in the quarterfinals and the World Cup tournament, because in last year’s games Finland lost to the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals.

In the end, the female lions were sixth in the tournament and fell into the B group.

The story will be updated as the match progresses.
