In yesterday’s episode Dante (Alessandro Gassmann) fell into a deep crisis after discovering that, years earlier, former student Gabriele had committed suicide. He feels an unbearable sense of guilt, to the point that he is unable to return to teaching. Balestra asks Irene (Nicole Grimaudo) for a break: in this moment of impasse the philosophy professor feels he is not helping his students.
This time the students will help Dante. They rush to his house trying to convince him to go back to school: without him they can’t complete their high school diploma. His son Simone (Nicolas Maupas) and Anita (Claudia Pandolfi) also try to encourage him. But above all they will be the words of the prof. of physics Leone (Dante Aita) to cheer him up and the challenge that Greta presents to him.
Greta is recovering after her suicide attempt. He is spending some time in the clinic. He seems to have found a new light in his eyes, especially thanks to the closeness of his mother Irene, his friends Tommaso and Simone, Manuel (Damiano Gavino) and Dante himself. With prof. makes a pact: «When he comes back to the courtroom, then I will be ready too» says the student to Balestra.
Is Dante ready to become a father again?
Anita is unable to tell Dante about her pregnancy. The prof. of philosophy is going through a complex moment in his life. He would like to disappear and he confesses to his son Simone that he feels like a failure: «I don’t have a partner, any plans for the future, a house to live in alone, any money in the bank. And I lost a son.” His students will give him the strength to return to the classroom.
Balestra will then discover that he is expecting a child from Anita. But how? Will Anita have the courage to confess it or will she get help from someone? The news destabilizes Dante, especially because it arrives at a difficult time. Will he be ready to become a father again? Simone and Manuel can’t wait.

A professor 3. The day of graduation
Dante manages to accompany his students to graduation. There will be some daring moments: Simone and Manuel are late on the morning of the written exam. Balestra and the members of the commission will do everything to buy time and not cause the two friends to miss out on the year. Will all students be worthy of promotion? After the ballots the members of 5B will take different paths.
Will Simone decide to go to college in London? Will Thomas follow him? Will Manuel return to his father or remain in Rome? Does Viola still intend to go to America to study? Anita gives birth: the child will be a boy or a girl?
After this episode, the series A professor which path will he take? A circle has certainly been closed. Dante has brought yet another class of his teaching career to maturity. What does its future look like now? In hoping for a fifth season, given the success of the ratings, some characters could disappear and new entries could take over. Stay tuned!
