Sonja Leinamo finished second in a 15 km normal race in Östersund. He took the win Dorothea Wierer with a measly 0.3 second difference.
Leinamo received one fine from four shooting locations. Wierer fired two shots wide, but very fast shooting spoiled the Italian’s victory.
Leinamo received handsome prize money for his top ranking, as 16,000 euros will be credited to his account for the second place.
The winner of the competition, Wierer, earned a pot of 20,000 euros.
