A goal from Min is enough for Telstar to take full advantage

After three games without a win, Telstar again took three points. A goal from David Min was enough against VVV-Venlo. It therefore ended in 1-0.

VVV got the first big opportunity in Velsen-Zuid. Simon Janssen seemed to score the opening goal, but Ronald Koeman Jr. kept his target shoe. Less than a minute later, Soulyman Allouch headed the ball just over. VVV was therefore more dangerous, but Telstar also had a huge chance. David Min came face to face with Ennio van der Gouw and did not score.

The team from Velsen kept pushing, because Tom Overtoom shot far over from close range. The home side’s attacking drive quickly came to a halt in the 42e minute after thunder. The game was then halted for about half an hour before it resumed.

Storm

First the remainder of the first half was played before the second started. A warning shot from Christos Giousis went just wide, but Min was still accurate. He hit hard at the first post: 1-0. Min remained the most dangerous man on Telstar’s side. The attacker came just short. A slider by Thomas Oude Kotte also went just wide. The home team therefore failed to decide the game.

In injury time, Allouch’s shot went wide, meaning Telstar took the three points against VVV-Venlo.
