A fuss about headscarves to ULB After professor of veiled students asked to show their ears during the exam: “I think this is really incomprehensible”

At the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), commotion arose when a professor asked for an exam of veiled students to show their ears to see if they were not wearing ears. Some students refused and spoke of discrimination and violation of their religious freedom. The rectorate then asked the teacher to adjust the contoler rule. Walloon Minister of Research Adrien Dolimont (MR) called it “unacceptable” that the professor received no support from the rector.
