A Christmas to remember for Leuven professional Jeroen (46), who traveled 172 kilometers in a wheelchair: “It was now or never”

Leuven professional Jeroen Beliën (46) experienced a special Christmas because he was the only one to complete the Warmest Ultra Marathon entirely in a wheelchair. Not exactly an easy task because at the end Jeroen had covered a total of 172 kilometers. “After the 100 kilometer mark I had a lot of pain in my arms, but I never thought about stopping,” he says, quite rightly with pride.
