Yle’s decision to end the popular talk show annoys journalist Arto Nyberg.
ATTE KAJOVA
Supplier Arto Nyberg’s the twenty-year talk show ends this week. The last episode was filmed last Sunday at Helsinki’s Musiikkitalo.
– We went with the routine, Nyberg commented on the mood after the shoot.
Yle’s decision to end her favorite program came as a surprise to the conkar journalist. Handling the matter has been difficult.
– It’s been on for a couple of months, how can you say it nicely, it’s a shame. It is still the dominant state of being, Nyberg describes.
Konkari’s journalist says that he receives bewildered comments from viewers about Yle’s decision to end the talk show.
– Constantly, when I go out into the yard, someone always comes to complain and wonder why the program was stopped.
The situation could be described as bittersweet, because Arto Nyberg is nominated for the Kultainen Venla gala. Ylen is also competing for the award Friday– program, the end of which was announced this fall.
Arttu Laitala
What have you answered to the wondering viewers?
– I have answered that if I knew the answer, I would tell you. Even those who quit the program don’t really have grounds, so I can do even less with them [perusteluista] know.
Nyberg would like to thank the show’s production team for the years together. In the last filming, the reporter was warmly considered.
– Musiikkitalo wanted to hand me a nice bouquet of flowers from our years together. The coworkers had collected gift cards. I had the best coworkers in the world.
– The filming has had a family feeling. Just like going to my house. Everyone is nice people and everything goes well. No one sneezes and no one’s gloves fall off when they have to work.
Christmas in the south
The last episode features an actor-writer as guests Laura MalmivaaraJonttu Virta, known from the band Dingo, and a trainer of police dogs Ilkka Hormila.
– We have tried to get guests who are as current as possible. Malmivaara plays a great role Queen of Fuckin Everything in the series. The Dingo movie comes out on Christmas Day, so we took Jontu for that. Hormila is an interesting person, so she needs to be introduced to the Finnish people, Nyberg reasons.
Matti Matikainen
Were you once a die-hard Dingo fan yourself?
– No, I was a punk guy, so Dingo didn’t bite me. As a phenomenon, Dingo touched all the people of that time, he laughs.
Nyberg has not yet had time to think further about his new work patterns. The last filming of my talk show has taken a lot of time and energy.
– Some hosting gigs have been arranged for me for next spring, but that’s all.
The journalist plans to spend his Christmas in the warmth of the south. Distance comes in handy.
– You get more to think about than the finished program.
