Meta, the American technology company behind Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, has announced that it will roll out its AI chat function, metai, in 41 European countries. The chat function is already live in Belgium. Earlier this week, the European Commission told Euronews that it is waiting for a risk assessment to check whether the new function meets the EU guidelines.
