Russian para -athlete Nikolai Polukhin Has lost the medals he won at the 2014 Winter Paralympics for 11 years after the Games.

Polukhini’s carts were reported by, among other things, the British Broadcasting Company BBC.

According to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) anti -doping authority, Polukhin had supplied urine samples, which were copied during the competitions.

The biathlete lost one gold and two silver medals.

According to IPC, the sample bottles given by Polukhin showed indications that they were reopened and closed. According to the anti -doping authority, the composition of the sample in 2018 was different from what it was in the Olympic year.

The Russian state -led doping program was confusing doping testing and control during the Games.

Polukhin complained about the decision to the International Court of Appeal of Sports to CAS, but the appeal was dismissed because Polukhin did not pay pre -costs in time.

The decision was made last September, but could not be enforced before the Polukhin appeal was annulled.
