New market values in 3rd league

The 3rd league starts this week: 109 players have received new market values before the 2nd Bundesliga is on March 26th and the professionals in the football upper house are re-evaluated on March 27. For 65 of them it goes up, the biggest plus recorded two promising talents from VfB Stuttgart II and FC Ingolstadt. There are also the first market value for some young hopes and the good second half of second division relegated VfL Osnabrück is rewarded.
Ousmane Diallo (17) from Borussia Dortmund II gets his first market value and is rated at 1 million euros. In the summer of 2023, the Spanish junior international switched to BVB’s youth and made his debut in the 3rd division in October. In the meantime he comes to five short missions. Mirza Catovic (17) from the second representation of VfB Stuttgart also receives his first evaluation. The defensive midfielder, who has been in the 3rd league again and again since December, is 500,000 euros.
Catovics teammate Laurin Ulrich (20) is one of the big winners. Its market value doubles and climbs to 1 million euros. “He is a phenomenon: After he hardly played a role in the background at the SSV Ulm in the second division, he pushes the VfB game up with outstanding performance. With six scorer points, he has made a significant contribution to the fact that the young Swabians have been able to set up several promotion candidates in the past few weeks. Ulrich is in the further course To trust a lot, ”says third division expert Johannes Netzer.
Ingolstadt Deniz Zeitler (18) is also upgraded by 500,000 euros. The new market value of the attacker is 900,000 euros, which rises to the most valuable professional in the Schanzer squad. “Zeitler is one of the most exciting talents of the 3rd division. Although the 18-year-old would still be eligible to play for the A-youth, he already plays an important role in FC Ingolstadt, which shows 10 scorer points,” Netzer explains the upgrading. For Bielefeld’s cup hero Marius Wörl, too, it goes up – its market value climbs by 150,000 to 800,000 euros. The midfielder was significantly involved in the Arminia semi-final in the semi-final in the next season.
Braydon Manu (27) records the largest minus from VfL Osnabrück, which is devalued by 250,000 to 750,000 euros. For the third time for the right wing, it goes down within a year – its market value has halved since then. Manu ran in the Bundesliga for Darmstadt last season, switching to Pec Zwolle after relegation, where he had little time. In winter he was awarded to the purple and whites for half a year, for which he collected more minutes than in the Netherlands, but it is not yet enough. He was on the pitch for 257 minutes in seven missions, and he managed a template.
For another winter newcomer, it goes down: Mika Baur (20) from Dynamo Dresden is devalued by 200,000 euros. The new market value of the left wing, which is loaned by SC Paderborn until the end of the season, is EUR 1 million. “The step 2. League came too early for Mika Baur. He blooms again in Dresden, the step back in the market value of the U20 national player is noticeable,” explains third division expert Sebastian Öttl. In summer, Baur moved from the second representative of SC Freiburg to Paderborn, but could not prevail there. Since returning to the 3rd division, he stood on the pitch in ten games, and he had not achieved a goal participation.
The second representatives of Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart consolidate their top position in terms of squad value. The Swabians are 1.05 million to EUR 21.4 million, BVB improves by EUR 1.35 million to EUR 15.3 million. Unlike in the 1st and 2nd league, you can play against relegation in the 3rd league despite the high squad values-the model of the U23 teams makes it possible. In third place in the most valuable squad is leaders Dynamo Dresden with EUR 9.75 million, which records a minus of 330,000 euros. Only for relegation candidate Sandhausen, whose squad value falls by 570,000 to EUR 7.75 million, it goes down more clearly. FC Ingolstadt has a comparatively large increase in 680,000 to EUR 9 million and VfL Osnabrück with 530,000 to 8.3 million euros. While the Schanzer are in the promotion race, the purple whites are in the middle of the relegation battle.
