Frank Ferrer announced by statement what he thinks of not being a member of Guns N ‘Roses. The band around Axl Rose announced the separation from the drummer on Thursday (March 20).
Frank Ferrer writes on Instagram: “The incredible enthusiasm that our fans, Guns N ‘Roses and my colleagues felt in the past 24 hours was incredible. I will always be infinitely and loving for Axl and the band.
But then: “While I am disappointed at the same time that this chapter came to an end.”
Frank Ferrer’s conclusion: “It was incredible 19 years. Guns n ‘Roses gave me life -changing memories and experiences. A huge thank you to the management, the crew and the fans that they have given me memories that I will remember all my life. I hope to see you all again soon! Frank Ferrer.”
Frank Ferrer on Instagram about the separation from him and Guns n ‘Roses:
Guns N ‘Roses and Axl Rose had previously reported the separation with their drummer as “friendly”. Doesn’t seem to be quite the truth if you get Ferrer’s Instagram statement.
Isaac Carpenter from Awolnation is the new drummer. Frank Ferrer has been with the band since 2006. Which made him one of the longest -serving members of Guns n ‘Roses. Including the album “Chinese Democracy” that falls into his era.
The place on the drums at GN’R is not easy to keep, despite the 19 years in which Frank Ferrer was sitting there. He also knew that. “It was originally just a temporary thing,” he said. “It should only take two weeks. But deep inside I had the feeling that a lot of doors could open up to me if I was really well beaten. Even if it was only for two weeks.”
Need continues the “need in this lifetime” tour. Without Ferrer.
