Barbara Dunst has recently been Austria’s “footballer of the year” twice, but is currently injured. After her time at Eintracht Frankfurt, she will open a new chapter in summer.
The transfer will take place for the coming season after Dunst’s contract expires in Frankfurt. The 27-year-old is currently curing a cruciate ligament tear and will therefore only be on the pitch for the new club after her recovery.
With the departure of haze, Eintracht Frankfurt loses a top performer. Since her change in 2018, the wing player played 147 competitive games for Eintracht and scored 25 goals. In Munich, Austria’s “Footballer of the Year” from 2023 and 2024 has now bound in the long term.
Bavaria’s director Bianca Rech was convinced of the obligation: “Barbara is a complete player who can be used flexibly in midfield and also exudes a great risk of goal. Her personality, but also her will to win impressed us from the start.”
