Former Bayern defender Rafinha has to leave Coritiba FC in his Brazilian homeland. According to a report, the reason is the participation in a 39-year-old football tournament in Munich. His club only reported that Rafinha was no longer part of the squad, since both clubs had agreed on the dissolution of the contract valid by the end of 2025.

FC Bayern paid another 5.5 million euros in 2011 and rely on Rafinha’s services for eight years. He is the most inserted Brazilian in the history of Munich. For Coritibia, he completed a cup game and nine missions in the paraná state championship this year. “I am here to redeem the promise that I gave when I left almost 20 years ago,” said the player at his presentation in December 2024.
