In November 2023, the main hearing against Gil Ofarim took place before the Leipzig district court in the “Davidstern affair” (all information here). On the sixth day of the trial, Ofarim admitted to inventing the accusations. He apologized to the hotel employee who accepted the apology. The procedure was set on the condition that Ofarim pays 5,000 euros to the Jewish community in Leipzig and to the memorial and educational institution- House of the Wannsee conference. He was also obliged to make compensation for the accused hotel employee.

Many take the 43-year-old crooked that he did not apologize publicly for his invented accusations. There is a permanent shitstorm on all newer posted photos on his Instagram profile. Nevertheless, Gil Ofarim announced a comeback concert for April 2025. For his appearance in the not gigantic Bochum Matrix Club (April 17, 2025), there are still loosely in stores, although announced for months.
Gil Ofarim has now announced something for tomorrow (March 20). A new Instagram tile only announces the lettering: “Tomorrow …”. So he wants to announce a news.
The hashtag is again: “#correction period”. So that could be the name of a new album. “Correction of time”: Gil Ofarim would certainly like to turn the time back. At a time when he hadn’t fallen into favor.
At this picture posted on Wednesday, the joyful comments of his followers still prevail. But there are already the first critical voices. “Tomorrow will be a serious request to apologize, which is not related to you, but to the people you have harmed? You can’t correct the time! We cannot cycle our mistakes from the past!” Writes one.
Another, in relation to the title “Correction of time”: “There is no ‘tomorrow’ for you.
