The French biathlon star is privately with Anna Gandler. The Austrian is the daughter of ex-ski runner Markus Gandler. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he won the silver medal over the 10 kilometers classic. The ex-athlete passed on his cross-country skiing to his 24-year-old daughter.

The biathlon couple has been together for a long time. As early as June 2023, both posted a photo of the golf course. When Claude scored his first podium in Ruhpolding at the beginning of the year in January, Anna Gandler was feverish.

For me, he is a great inspiration. He always sees the positive and never gives up.”
