The German national team is preparing for the National League games against Italy. Tim small service is also included. He looked back from his animals in front of the gate.

It is going well for Tim small service. Although the attacker is closed to the upcoming game of the Gladbachers, he has already completed 27 games since his change from 1. FC Heidenheim and scored 15 goals. He was also nominated for the upcoming Nations League games of the national team against Italy. The 29-year-old had to be patient until the great success came, but now he is in the middle.

He probably also copied his calm manner from his pets: Greek tortoises. In an interview with the “Welt”, small service said: “I think these animals radiate a nice calm. They literally take the wind out of my sail. When I look at them, I can think about very different things.”

His turtles spend the winter months in a very special environment – in the fridge. “Usually they would bury themselves to survive winter,” said small service. But since he couldn’t control this well, he decided to winter in the fridge. This is in his garage and is controlled by a thermostat to offer the animals a constant environment. In an interview with RTL last year, small service said that the ideal temperature of the refrigerator was between three and seven degrees.

Small service itself learned in the course of his career to act calmly in front of the goal. A property that he may have copied from his pets. “I think that a few years ago I reacted here and there a little more hectic compared to today, maybe even more surprised. A little has developed over time,” said the striker.

In his career, the offensive player was kept loaned by his clubs to other clubs. SC Freiburg sent small service to Heidenheim. The Heidenheimers then Ghent. However, the DFB player would not want to miss the experience. “I think there are very few careers that go perfectly. For my development it was certainly useful to have had negative experiences,” said small service.

He stated: “You also draw something from it and are prepared when there are new challenges.” He can now master this again with the DFB team in the Nations League. The national team triggers new feelings in small service. He told the “world”: “When I talk about the national team, that’s still very special. I have the jerseys at home and when I see them, I think every time it is incredibly crazy.”
