After the title at the WTA tournament in Indian Wells, the shooting star in women’s tennis impressively showed his refreshing self-confidence.
Andrejewa: “Security to beat the big ones in big games”
No wonder: The 2: 6, 6: 4, 6: 3 in the final against the top seeded Aryna Sabalenka was something like the final advance of the exceptional appearance Andrejewa in the absolute top of the world. After her title in Dubai in February, the Russian triumphed for the second time in a row at a 1000 tournament, the most important competitions away from the Grand Slamsand catapulted in sixth place in the world rankings.

Andrejewa, who grew up in Krasnojarsk and now ensures records from the French Cannes due to age, is in the best society – and has to look for new season goals early in the year. She has already achieved her original project to advance to the top 10.
