Hannover 96 found a solution in the hickhack for the management. The Hannover 96 Management GmbH supervisory board unanimously agreed to appoint Marcus Mann by 2029 and Henning Bindzus until at least 2027 as managing director.

The 96s had been in acute shortness of time, since the license documents for the next season must be submitted to the German Football League by Monday. The license is necessary for the clubs to join German 1. And 2nd Bundesliga. The DFL demands every year from the clubs that they meet numerous requirements. The important signature of the documents was preceded by the constant dispute between the mother club and the capital side. Since Martin Kind was removed last summer, the leadership of the Mother Association Hannover 96 EV and the shareholders of the outsourced professional football department had not been able to agree on a successor.
“With Marcus Mann and Henning Bindzus, we have a strong and competent management, which will give the right impulses both in terms of sport and economy,” said Supervisory Board Chairman Ralf Nestler. “The unanimous vote on the supervisory board of Management GmbH proves that we have found a sustainable solution for Hannover 96 together.” Supervisory Board member Hauke Jagau said: “I am very happy that we have succeeded in installing a professional and efficient management of the future that can strategically develop the club. Hannover 96 is very well positioned with Marcus Mann and Henning Bindzus. From now on, football is in the foreground again. “
Hannover 96: Association and capital side have been disputed for years
The association and capital side have been disputed by the promotion candidate of the 2nd Bundesliga for years. In the managing director question, this permanent conflict almost cost the club for the coming season. The shareholders around the long-standing club boss Kind had even tried in vain to achieve the establishment of an emergency manager in court. “We hope that we can stand there on Monday evening and say that we got away with a blue eye again,” said Mann. For the first division promotion, everything has to be subordinate to the club, which was not always the case in the end, he said with a view to the disputes: “Now the time has come that everyone pulls together.”
