Tom Brady comes back on decision and still continues season | Other sports

“Over the past two months I have realized that my place is still on the pitch, not in the stands. That time will come someday, but not yet. I love my teammates and I love my family who support me. They make all this possible. I’ll be back to Tampa for my 23rd season. Unfinished business LFG,” he wrote on Twitter. ‘LFG’ stands for: Let’s freaking go.

The 44-year-old seven-time Super Bowl winner stated in February that he was stopping to focus on his family and his health. Brady called his decision a difficult decision at the time, but he said: ,,I don’t feel I can be 100 percent competitive anymore. I’ve enjoyed my NFL career, and now it’s time to focus my time and energy on other things that need my attention.”

Brady, married to famed Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen, is regarded as the greatest quarterback ever in the National Football League (NFL). He helped the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl six times. In 2021, he also led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the championship.

Brady showed last season that even at the age of 44 he still belongs to the absolute top. He had the most touchdown passes of any quarterback, and the superstar also topped the passing yards standings. However, Tampa Bay Buccaneers was eliminated in the playoffs by the later finalist Los Angeles Rams, in a game that was decided in the final second.
