Despite good legs, Mathieu van der Poel is not always able to win a stage in this Tirreno-Adriatico. After his third place on Thursday behind Olav Kooij, the Dutchman became second on Friday. Lonely refugee Fredrik Dversnes (UNO-X) won the stage.
