A 53-year-old man from De Wolden municipality was seriously injured in a car accident in Wanneperveen. He controlled the car that crashed into a tree this morning on the Veneweg.
The victim was released from the car with the help of fire staff. Then he was taken to the hospital.
The Veneweg was closed for a while after the accident. The police are investigating how the car could get off the road.
