ProRail works on the tunnel from March 12 to March 26. The railway manager replaces the block track here.
The work has consequences for the Amsterdam Central – Hoofddorp – Hilversum – Schiphol – Hoofddorp and Schiphol – Almere Centraal – Lelystad Central. The Dutch Railways calls on travelers to take into account an extra transfer and longer travel time.
Also fewer trains in Amsterdam-Zuid
From Saturday 15 March to Sunday 23 March, fewer trains run from Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam Rai station. There too, travelers must take extra crowds into account. Furthermore, it is advised to avoid the peak in the next two weeks.
On Thursday morning, March 27, ProRail finished work on the track and the trains run again according to timetable.
