Bisseck indicates nomination: “I’m in good spirits”

On Thursday, Julian Nagelsmann nominated the DFB squad for the National League games against Italy. There could also be a debutant.
Yann Aurel Bisseck from Inter Milan is apparently facing his first nomination for the German national team. The 24-year-old indicated this before the official announcement of the squad on Thursday.
“I’m not expressing myself,” Bisseck said at the streaming prime video with a wide grin. When asked further, he added: “I wait until Thursday, I’m in good spirits. Let’s take a look.” Julian Nagelsmann will officially announce the DFB squad on Thursday.
Previously, the central defender had stood on the pitch in the 2-1 win of Inter Milan against Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Champions League. With the success, Inter qualified for the quarter -finals against Bayern Munich.
Bisseck, who was trained at the 1st FC Köln, played in several DFB junior teams and led the U21 as captain at a European Championship. He was in contact with national coach Julian Nagelsmann last year. At that time, Bisseck said at Sky that the conversation took about five and a half minutes. Nagelsmann advised him to continue to build on his services.
In November, the national coach said about the DFB candidate: “At Bisseck, it is the case that he played too little last year for a central defender to really collect rhythm.” Nagelsmann also noted that the operating times showed a good trend. “Now he plays much more and he does it well too.”
A total of 29 competitive games have been played for Inter in the current season, 20 of them in the starting eleven. With the “Nerazzurri”, the black and blue, he stands at the top of the table A and is in the semi-finals of the Italian trophy. The DFB announces whether Bisseck is actually nominated for the national team on Thursday at 11 a.m.
