In the Championship held at Cair Sports Center in Nis, Türkiye completed the third day without defeat.
National athletes 50 kilos Ayşen Taşkın, 54 kilos Hatice Akbaş, 60 kilos Gizem Özer, 63 kilos Esmanur LÖK and 81 kilos Büşra Işıldar, defeating their opponents rose to the upper round.
Türkiye made a good start by winning all the matches in the championship which was completed on its third day.
Hekimoğlu: “We started very well”
Women’s World Boxing Championship on the spot followed by the President of the Turkish Boxing Federation Suat Hekimoğlu, national athletes made a good start, he said.
Hekimoğlu reminded that they participated in the championship in 12 weightlets, “I congratulate our athletes who started the championship very well. Our goal is the world championship in the team. Our girls will gather medals. We do not leave them alone as a federation. We will return to our country with good news.” He said.
