According to security firm Check Point Research, Monday’s Monday problems have been taken responsible for the Pro-Palestinian cyber-break team The Dark Storm Team.

In its announcement, Check Point says the group specializes in denial of service attacks. Its main destinations have been Western organizations operating in the United States, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

According to Check Point, the denial of service attack on the Message Service X is in line with the group’s broader goal to undermine significant digital platforms and infrastructure.

The group is known to have hit the Los Angeles International Airport, Haifa harbor in Israel during the past month, and the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense.

Musk immediately lifted Ukraine

Message Service X Elon Musk Said on Monday that the traces of the cyber attack would lead to Ukraine, as harmful traffic was targeted at the platform from Ukrainian IP addresses.

According to Reuters sources, only a small proportion of the attacks came from Ukrainian addresses, and most came from, among others, the United States, Vietnam and Brazil.

Camouflage of IP addresses is common in cyber attacks, which makes it difficult to trace the actual origin of the attacks.

Prompt all: Be prepared and prepare

According to Check Point, significant online services and critical infrastructure are subjected to a growing cyber threat.

– For users, this can mean service interruptions, slowness and limited access to important websites and applications. Businesses are trying to fight these attacks, but users may still face delays, mistakes or temporary breaks, Check Point’s main technologist and product wound leader Oded pudding says in the bulletin.

Check Point Software encourages both users and companies to prepare for alternative communication channels and prepare for future disruptions.
