On average, more than 11,000 spectators see a football game in the 3rd league. If it stays with it, more than four million fans will have come for the first time this season.

On the 27th out of 38 match days, the brand was broken by three million visitors, as early as soon than ever in the almost 17-year history of the league.

Eleven game days before the end of the season is a new record almost safe: the record is 3.689 million, set up last season. At that time the cut was 9,707 fans per game, in the current season there are currently 11,239. This means an increase of almost 16 percent.

If the league keeps this cut, it will surpass the four million mark for the first time this year.

Dynamo Dresden with the highest cut

Several traditional clubs ensure the highest number of spectators. Dynamo Dresden is at the forefront with an average of around 29,000 fans, Alemannia Aachen (25,000), Hansa Rostock (23,000) and Arminia Bielefeld (20,000) are also very popular. Red-Weiss Essen, 1860 Munich, VfL Osnabrück, the 1. FC Saarbrücken and Energie Cottbus are also located above the current cut.

All 15 TSV 1860 home games in the stadium on Grünwalder Straße were sold out with 15,000 spectators.

At the end of the list there are the second teams from Hannover 96 (an average of about 2,500 fans) and VfB Stuttgart (2,350).
