“I am very happy because it was my first goal in the Bundesliga. It is a dream that has become true. As a child in Georgia, I always dreamed of playing in one of the top 5 leagues. Now I’m here and happy that I have met,” said Zivzivadze after the game in the sports show interview. Hoffenheim goalkeeper Tabakovic said after the game: “Of course we wanted a victory today that we take another step. Due to the results of yesterday, it turns out that we just have to stay tuned. We are still not there, we have to step on the gas, we have to take victories.” And that counts. “

The TSG went into the encounter with the self -confidence of three games without defeat. On the other hand, the FCH had fallen back to the last place on the last matchday by 0: 3 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Less than four minutes were played, the game had been interrupted for a long time: Hoffenheim’s Diadié Samassékou had been to the ground with pain in his thigh and had to be treated. Nevertheless, it did not go on: veteran Kevin Akpoguma replaced defensive players.

Tabakovic lets TSG cheer

Large game flow did not arise afterwards. The TSG took control of what was happening, the Heidenheimers held consistent duel guidance. The first good opportunity was Tom Bischof, whose streak left shot from 23 meters stroked the latte (14th). Three minutes later, the Heidenheimers also registered on the offensive, Marnon Busch’s end rushed past the left post.

After that, there was very little in front of both goals. The teams could not be discussed. On the one hand, the defensive series on the post showed themselves, on the other hand, the necessary precision in the attack actions was missing on both sides. The Hoffenheim leadership fell out of the blue: Tabakovic extended a long throw -in by head over FCH keeper Kevin Müller into the goal – a strange goal.

Tabakovic put on Tabakovic for Gift Orban five minutes before the break, which, however, missed the 2-0 free -standing. The attacker chased his end over the goal. In the 44th minute Tabakovic steered a shot from Pavel Kaderabek on the goal, but was crucially blocked by FCH captain Patrick Mainka.

Baumann saves against Mainka

FCH coach Frank Schmidt reacted and brought the attacker Timzivadze for central defenders Tim Siersleben to kick off the second round. The first chance belonged to the TSG again, but Müller was able to direct Bischof’s shooting shot over the goal (49.). Four minutes later there was confusion in the Hoffenheim penalty area, Mainka pulled out massively, TSG keeper Oliver Baumann parried with a strong reflex. Shortly afterwards, a deflected cross drog Benedikt Gimber far beyond the Hoffenheim Tor (54th).

After an hour, the tireless Adrian Beck suddenly had space in the center and ran towards the penalty area, his degree completely failed (64.). A few seconds later, Zivzivadze then did better – and how. The Georgian recorded a rebound on the left corner of the penalty area and faded the ball fantastically into the right angle.

The game was now more open. Marvin Pieringer’s header in the 71st minute did not embarrass Baumann. The Heidenheimers – urgently dependent on points – felt that even more is possible in Sinsheim. Substitute Paul Wanner was served heavily, but failed free -standing due to Baumann (77th).

In the final phase, both teams offered themselves on the second goal. However, it didn’t get really dangerous before Bishop scored again in the 90th minute. Hoffenheim is in 13th place with 26 points. Heidenheim (16) remains the last for the time being.
